Workshops planned for this Fall!
Braver Angels Pioneer Valley is planning two workshop events in the coming months - details still to be determined. Please contact us here and ask to be put on our mailing list, so we can keep you informed as plans develop. If you prefer not to be on the mailing list, just check this page periodically for new information.
Public Red-Blue Workshop: On October 23 and 30, we’ll hold a two-part “Red/Blue” workshop on Zoom. This is the most popular Braver Angels workshop. Dozens of these have been held on-line since March 2020. Click here to learn more about the workshop as it’s been held nationally. We’re currently planning this local workshop in collaboration with the Greenfield Alliance, and we’ll provide more information soon.
Five College Red-Blue Workshop: We’re working with students from the Five Colleges to hold another Red/Blue workshop, also sometime in the fall. (This might also be open to the public; we’ll provide more information soon.
Debates
We’re currently working with students to plan a series of Braver Angels debates, to begin in winter 2022. Click here to learn more about Braver Angels debates.
1:1 Conversations
Braver Angels has an easy-to-use guide for good conversations with people you disagree with politically. You can read about the approach here and find the guide here. If you learned about Braver Angels 1:1 Conversations at our July 31 picnic (or elsewhere) and if you’ve already engaged in one or more of these conversations, please let us know using the Contact Form.
Presentations
If you are a member of a group that might be interested in a presentation about Braver Angels, please let us know using our Contact Form. In the fall, we’d like to visit with your group, either in person or by Zoom, and take 15-30 minutes to describe Braver Angels and see who might want to join us. And, there may be events you might want to co-sponsor with us.
